Weigh-in Wednesday!

I feel like this week has been one HOT MESS. I've tried to meal plan and prep and every day it's been a disaster. I have had migraines and worked 12 hour shifts, and it's been Thanksgiving (Canada!), and I just can't seem to get it together. I feel like it's hard to 'get it together' right after Thanksgiving. I think everyone is in a turkey coma and can't seem to recall what good eating is like anymore. 

Actually, Thanksgiving wasn't that bad. I had lots of veggies, a small bit of gravy and cranberry jelly. But my downfall was, and always is, dessert. I had cheesecake. It was divine. I'm not sorry. 

Anyway, I've felt like a sack of crap for a few days, and can't seem to get my head on straight. I don't know if I've got a cold or if it's just working a lot and not sleeping well. 

Needless to say, I'm not getting on the scale today, but I AM going to do my best to eat healthy and get my head back where it needs to be. I have today's shift left, then a night on Friday then a couple days off. I work all week next week though, but just 8 hour shifts, so not too bad. I can usually plan those out really well. I think it all may have gone better if I had had a day between Thanksgiving and work that I could have gone to the store and meal prepped. However, the store was closed and I did my best.

  1. Happy Thanksgiving to you! Yea, the holiday always does me in too but great job making better choices (minus the cheesecake but hey, it's not like you eat it all the time!)
