Weigh in Wednesday

Apparently my brain doesn't work well after night shifts. I didn't realize it was Wednesday already, but here we are. So I'm sorry this is a bit late, but it's here at least!

Weigh-in Wednesday!

This week was the last week of Septembers 21 Day Fix group. I had SUCH an amazing group of people this month. I am enormously proud of them all. I don't even care if they didn't lose much weight, but if they learned something about healthy eating and living a healthy lifestyle, I'm a happy coach!!

As for me, my results are thus:

Starting weight: 169.6
Starting total inches: 197

End weight: 165.8
End total inches: 193.5

I'm pretty pumped about those numbers. It sucks to weigh in after night shifts, but there it is. I'm a little scared of what's going to happen this weekend though! We're headed to Universal Studios Orlando (Yep! Flying to Florida for the weekend! *Insert excited girly high pitched squeal here*). We are totally pumped to see their new addition to The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, as well as we have tickets to Halloween Horror Nights. I'm terrified, and I think I'm going to have to wear an adult diaper. But hey, it's all in good fun. At least they can't touch you....right?? Plus, Casey and I haven't been to the Universal side (as opposed to the Islands of Adventure side) since I was 12 and not sure for him. Should be fun!

So, back to this round of the 21 Day Fix. There are a few things that always happen. Week 1, I'm all organized and pumped about life and losing a bit more weight. Week 2, I usually encounter Shark Week, and all I want is chocolate, and to watch the Snape's Penseeve scene of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 and weep until I fall asleep. Week 3 I usually get back on track, but then get sick or injured. The first time around I got gastro. This time I have a cold that I'm babying since we're traveling this weekend.

The plan for next round is this: I have read/watched much fitness/weight loss advice. One of the Beachbody Trainers (either Chalene, or Autumn not sure) said this. Don't keep junk food in your house. If you've got a craving that you just can't kick, GO OUT and get the thing you want. This round I will do that.

Normally I have little things of junk food in the house. Harper's goldfish stash, some smarties that I keep to reward her if she ever pees on the potty, bakers squares (yep, seriously, can't even have those!). I intend on purging the house of all those things, because week 2 leaves me with very little will power.

Also, when we get back, Casey and I will be starting Beta Round of T25. We've been putting it off until our vacation, so when we get back we're back at it.

So, that's how my week has gone. How about yours??

Oh, and I got my hair dyed again!

  1. The tip about getting the temptations out of the house is a good one. It's so much easier to say no once, before you bring something home, that it is to say no over and over again when you know it's within easy reach.

    1. Exactly. If you REALLY truly want it, go out and get it. At least you have to work for it then.
