Weigh in Wednesday

Good morning everyone! Welcome to another week of Weigh in Wednesday! Grab a button, add it to your post, and join the linkup! We would love to have you!

I have to say, this has been a pretty amazing week for me, food and fitness wise. I have been mostly following the 21 day fix meal plan, though I may have had more treats on Saturday after running the Mud Run.

Post Mud Run

I talked it over with MY wonderful coach, and she agreed that I should bump my container limits up one level, due to the general active lifestyle I live, even before workouts. This has helped my cravings tremendously. I am not starving. I can honestly say I went to bed one time this week without finishing one of my yellow (carb) containers, which is a big deal for most people. I often don't get my fruit amounts in, because it's a lot and I'm not really hungry.

Zucchini chips from Fixate!

I have been drinking chocolate Shakeology at night, to help me curb my grazing tendencies and it works really well. I was concerned it would bother my sleep but so far so good.

Fitness has been excellent this week. I have walked several days with one friend, ran the Mud Run 5k (hiked is the more appropriately term, as it was up the side of a ski mountain) which had obstacles like walls and balance beams and such. I was super happy with being able to do all of the obstacles without much trouble. Had it been a relatively flat terrain I'm sure I would have run it just fine too.

I ran a little with another friend this week, and even did T25. We took two rest days, one before the run and one that day.  We made up for it with doing lower body and ab intervals last night.

Today is the start of week 3 of T25 for Casey and I. I'm super proud of him, sticking with it, and often forcing ME to stick with it. He's lost 7.8 lbs these last 2 weeks doing T25, watching what he eats, and drinking Shakeology!

This week, I lost 1.6 lbs. I was really hoping for a bit more but hey, this is what I do. Lose slowly. So, I'm super happy with it!

How was YOUR week?

  1. Did you make the zucchini chips? How were they? I have a ton of zucchini and need more ways to use them. Sounds like you are hitting on all cylinders this week - great loss :)

    1. I made them with the Epicure chipster and slicer, in the microwave! With salt only.

  3. Congrats on your 1+ pound weight loss! Mud runs are so much fun. One of my goals is to participate in the Ultimate Challenge Mud Run that takes place every year in South Carolina. I heard it's a beast.

  6. Congrats! I would love a loss like that! I am truly trying to just gauge myself now on my endurance and inches. My body is just not wanting to lose weight?

Love the zucchini chips!! I should make some, I'm the only one in the house that loves zucchini.

  7. Awesome week! I definitely need to make activity more of a priority--it's definitely been lacking as of late.

  8. I tried to make zucchini chips in the oven but they shrunk so small and the spices clumped (so some were super salty or super garlicy). Great loss this week!
