Weigh in Wednesday

Hello everyone!

It's time for another Weigh in Wednesday!

I hope everyone has had a great week. I know it's been a busy one for me.

I'm still working on finding someone to design a button for the blog hop. Until I do, we will just go ahead and continue to use the old one.

Cassi from The Long And Winding Road To Wellness is going to be co-hosting with me, so make sure you head on over and follow her!

This week has been another crazy one. I don't know how I got so busy, but it just happened. I've done Trauma Nursing, Basic Life Support, and Advanced Cardiac Life Support in the last week and a little. I think my brain might be mush now. I'm afraid if I tilt my head to the side it might fall out my ear. I am grateful for the educational opportunities though. They really do come in handy as an ER nurse.

I also took my mom to the city for a CAT scan  on Friday, and ran the colour run that the school put together on Saturday which was a mistake, but I'm glad I did it! I coughed every step of the way, but my Mother in Law was patient with me, and didn't push me into the ditch, as I'm sure I was annoying. I haven't shaken the cold from like 3 weeks ago, but I'm starting to just workout anyway, because it's getting a little old. We ran it in 36 min and a little change, so not too bad for literally coughing up a lung during the run!

Note my rainbow cleavage sweat. Yum.

I'm working on getting a handle on my eating. I have done well other than the day in the city, which wasn't even that bad, and a couple of nights where I was starving so munched on all the chocolate I could find. I will eventually learn not to keep junk in the house, as that's my weakness.

Spaghetti Squash, Chicken, Broccoli, Organic Tomato Sauce, and Parm!

This week I lost 0.8 pounds, which I'm happy with. I lost what I have so far by doing a little at a time, and if that's what it takes, I'm happy with that.

Last Week: 164.4 pounds
This Week: 163.6 pounds
Change: -0.8 pounds
Total Loss: -46.4 pounds

I've found it funny that people keep asking me if I've lost more weight. I haven't changed the number on the scale much since March, but I think I might look different. I fit into a different style of jeans which I couldn't fit into 2 months ago, so that's quite nice!

 Transformation Tuesday :)

So, don't forget to check out the other blogs who link up, and follow everyone you can! Support each other and it makes everyone's journey a little bit easier!

  2. Woohoo, new jeans fitting is the BEST feeling! Also, not sure exactly what you're looking for in someone to design the button, but I can help if you need! I've designed (fairly simple) buttons before. So, if you need a designer and another host, let me know :)

    1. Thank you! It was a little hard on the lungs, especially with there being dust everywhere but it was fun anyway!

  4. It's interesting how other people notice changes in our bodies when we're only noticing things on the scale. Hope you're feeling back to normal soon!

  5. New jeans, or even a different style of jeans, fitting and looking good on you is always a freaking awesome NSV!
