Weigh in Wednesday

Hello everyone!

It's time for another weigh in Wednesday!  This week was a little weird, food wise, as well as my body is acting psychopathic. I'm hoping it will return to normal soon. It started with a really horrid chest and head cold and it hasn't gone away. I have a man cough that sounds like I've smoked a pack a day for 40 years. I have never smoked a day in my life. Anyways. Hoping that clears up soon. I was supposed to run a 5k on Sunday for Alzheimer's disease awareness but I wouldn't have been able to breathe.

I stayed the same again this week, which is nice, because I don't usually maintain for 2 weeks in a row. I'm sitting at 164.4 pounds.

I started a new round of the 21 Day Fix on Monday with a great group of ladies. I can't wait to see their results! And mine too!

The plan for food over the next week includes salads, wraps, fish, sweet potato, broccoli, and maybe a good chili if I can find a decent recipe.

Does anyone know a good 21 df friendly spaghetti sauce recipe? I suck at making spaghetti sauce for some reason.

So, I have a bit of big news, and I'm a little bit nervous about it, but here it is. Both of my co-hosts are now done hosting Weigh in Wednesday. That means that I'm left, but I plan to continue to host. I would love to have one, maybe two other hosts, preferably someone who I can rely on if my computer doesn't send the email when I press send, or if I'm called in to work early on Wednesday or something like that.

Send me an email, winter.lemieux@gmail.com if you're interested in co-hosting!

I'd love to see this link-up continue, and other bloggers continue to be supported through it!

  1. Aldi makes a brand of sauce called Simply Nature. No sugar and delicious! Definitely 21 day fix friendly.

    1. I live in a remote area of canada. We don't get too many good fix friendly groceries.

  2. I don't know any spaghetti sauce suggestions, but I did take a look at the 21 Day Fix a few weeks ago, and realized it was just too restrictive for me, so congrats on that! Also, I know hosting the linkup is a bit daunting, but you got it. You don't have to be perfect! I'd say I might help if I could get a little more regular with checking in myself!

    1. The 21 Day Fix nutrition plan was too restrictive for me but it works for so many that need this type of control!

    2. Thanks!
To be fair, I do tweek the fix to more suit my lifestyle. I am on the lowest container allowance so it would be very restrictive if not!

  4. I'm not sure if it's 21 day fix friendly, but I make a sauce that uses crushed tomatoes, olive oil, garlic, onion, basil and parsley, and balsamic vinegar. It freezes really well too. http://www.stylemepretty.com/living/2013/04/24/best-ever-marinara-sauce-homemade-pasta/

  6. With someone like me who doesn't like many fruits & veggies (yet!) the 21 Day Fix was hard for me too. I learned that I wasn't eating enough protein though.

    1. I have no issues with fruits/veggies I've always loved them. I eat way too many carbs and not nearly enough protein! It was a huge wake up call!
