A Quick Weigh in Wednesday
I feel like I've been so busy lately! I guess I have been. Normally I have a blog post all ready, days in advance for Weigh in Wednesday, but not this week! I think I've been busy straight through since last Wednesday! Well, here I am, 8:55 PM on Wednesday, and I'm just going to check in.
To be honest, I feel like I fell off the healthy bus last week around Tuesday, hit my head, and have been wandering around disorientated ever since. I had a good loss last week, but I thought it was a bit undeserved. I didn't work for it at all. In fact, I went a little nuts on the nighttime eating, and still managed to lose.
Not this week. This week I gained 2.2 pounds. No, I don't think it's a huge deal, but it was a bit of a wake up call. First of all, I haven't been getting my water. This is a big thing for me. I get dehydrated, and then feel terrible, and then eat badly, and so on. I've been trying to rehydrate myself for 2 days.
As for workouts, I haven't been doing much other than hockey. I played in a tournament this weekend, which was 2 games. I was literally so nervous for the first one, I worked my stomach into a terrible wreck and couldn't even enjoy myself at the after party. I stayed out late and should have just gone to bed and would have probably felt better. Sunday after the games, I went home and actually slept for 3 hours. I never do that. It felt great, but I really needed it. I didn't get my water in either of those days, and then I went away to get my mom and didn't drink enough again. I went a little crazy with the junk food on Tuesday. Ok, a lot crazy.
This week was supposed to be the first day of the P90 C program. I haven't felt well at all, and previously had been holding off to try and heal my knee. That actually feels much better. So, tomorrow morning I'm hoping to begin the C workouts.
Otherwise, I'm working on planning my meals according to the 21 Day Fix plan. I was really overwhelmed at first, with the whole idea, but I think I'll get the hang of it. I'm off for a few days so I can actually test things out and see what to do. I worked yesterday and today and was away monday, so I haven't had 5 minutes to meal plan or do anything really. So, tomorrow I'm hoping to make a dressing and possibly one of the desserts I found on Pinterest. I'll post about it if it's a success!
