Post Vacation Weigh in Wednesday

Hello all! Sorry I've been MIA for a week. It's been busy since getting home so I've not had time to get on and blog about anything at all!

This past weekend, as I mentioned before, Casey and I took Harper to moncton for the weekend. We planned to do a whole bunch of things with her, including the zoo and water park there. Unfortunately it rained most of the time we were there. We didn't let that get us down though!

On Friday we left on the 9:30 ferry and drove to moncton. Harper actually slept some in the car on the way which was good. We stopped at noon for lunch at a drive through and I ended up getting a chicken burger at Dairy Queen. I didn't really like the fries so I didn't eat many of them.

When we got to moncton we went to the mall to get a few things. We live on an island with no place to shop for clothes or many other necessities so we always have to take advantage of it when we're in the city. We chased Harper around the mall for a while and picked up a few things we needed.

We met up with a friend of ours and her husband for supper. We went to Easy Side Mario's and I had Alfredo. Mostly because it's the only thing on the 2 can done for 25.99 special that I knew what it was. It was nice to see Megan and Renaud. Harper was really quite good the whole time.

After supper we were going to make our way back to the hotel to put Harper to bed but we decided to make a pit stop for Goji's frozen yogurt. So good.

We had a major parenting win while putting Harper to bed. We were going to put her to bed in the bathroom so we could watch television. Well the door to the bathroom opened inwards so we couldn't put her pack and play in there. We have a mini pack and play so Casey put it in the shower! She went to sleep in under 10 seconds I'm sure!

Saturday we had breakfast and went to both the moncton market and the dieppe one as well. We got the cinnamon buns that I used to love at the moncton market. Well I have to say, the ones that Jocelyn makes here on the island are better! Guess I'll have to find a new reason to love the moncton maket! As if I need one. We got a really cute hat for Harper too.

We took Harper back to the hotel room for a nap and I went back to the mall to try and find a couple shirts. I needed one badly for our family pictures that we're doing on Saturday. I literally power shopped for like 2 hours and got my 10 000 steps in by lunch time! I got a few shirts too! Which is a miracle in itself for me!

After harpers nap it wasn't raining too badly so we took her to the zoo. It was fun. She didn't know what to think of all the animals. She loves birds though and there were several of those. Lots of peacocks out and walking around the trails. Even a few babies!

My favourite part was the goats. They have lots of little pigmy goats and Harper thought they were fun. We had to keep reminding her not to body slam them though.

It rained the last little while we were at the zoo. We went back to the hotel room to let Harper nap. I stayed with her whole Casey made his trip to golf town.

We went to supper at Swiss chalet. I had ribs and a poutine. Super good for you. We went for gojis after again as well.

Sunday we basically did the last few errands we wanted to do and then drove back to the ferry. Harper only slept 30 mins on the way back to the boat. It was a long day for her.

So, moving on to weigh in Wednesday. I was terrified to get on the scale after eating so badly but I'm only up 1.2 pounds this week. I thought it was going to be much worse than that. I'm hoping to get rid of that this week. It's really hard to get my eating back on track after being really bad for 3 days. I hope I can do it!

Height: 5'3"
Last Week: 170.2
This Week: 171.4
Change: +1.2 pounds
Total Loss: 38.6 pounds

How was your week? Did you meet your goals?
