Weigh in Wednesday
Well I'm super bummed to report that this week I'm up 2.2 pounds. I knew I would be. This weekend I went to the city for the night with Casey. We had a nice baby free night away, but I would say that we over indulged on good food. The thing is, we don't go away that often, and when we do, we always want to eat the food that we can't get at home.
So that means we went to Tim hortons. Twice. Guess what they were selling? Oreo iced Capps. To be honest, not even close to as good as it should have been. Only drank like half of mine. We had some timbits too (small doughnut holes for you non Canadians). We ate at the Saint John ale house, which was yummy. I had a steak. Naughty naughty.
After we got back to our room, I had the bright idea to order room service. Cheesecake and carrot cake. Oh my.
The next day we ate at Coras for breakfast which always includes a lot of fresh fruit but also a lot of calories too.
We didn't eat lunch but for supper we ordered some greasy Chinese takeout from a place we used to get from when I was in university. Haven't eaten there since uni actually. It was good but way more food than even Casey would be able to eat.
So after that calorie packed overnight trip, I'm sure no one is surprised by my gain. We even had a bday supper for my sister in law last night. I ate what I would say were normal portions of everything but on top of that bad eating weekend, it didn't help anything.
I didn't even get all my water while I was away. I tried really hard though. Bought bottled water, guzzling it whenever I could.
I'm back to my normal habits now so the weight should be taken care of soon. I hope everyone has a better week than me!!
