Weigh in Wednesday

Well, now that I've had a few consecutive days off, I am starting to feel more like myself again. I'm back to work again today for my long set, so I'm glad I got a good rest in between. This past saturday it was so nice out, and all I wanted to do was sleep. Or at least rest.

But, my lethargy has not been nice to the scale. I got on it yesterday and I was up 0.8 pounds. Which was down from some of the numbers I saw over the weekend. Yes, I weigh myself daily. Don't judge me. Haha! Anyway, so after seeing that slight gain on the scale, and knowing my tummy wasn't feeling the greatest, I decided to challenge myself to drink as much water as humanly possible.

I'm not sure I could drink this much every day, but since I wasn't at work, I didn't find it too overwhelming. Also, being a nurse, you just never know how many bathroom breaks you're going to get.

At the end of the day I ended up drinking 160 oz of water. That's 3.7 litres! Yay!

This morning I got on the scale and was only up 0.2 pounds from last week. I tell you, water makes a ton of difference! Also, watching what you eat extremely carefully helps too...haha

On another note I have been keeping up doing at least 2 runs a week and the last 2 I have done I've been able to run 5 minutes straight. I'm really happy with this progress because if you remember back when I started running again, I was terrified if the prospect of running 3 minutes...and now I can do 5 without too much trouble! I'm excited to see how I progress with my running. I'm glad in going slowly with it though.

And one last thing. This is my transformation Tuesday picture from yesterday. On the left was July last year. Left was this weekend. Around 25 pounds difference! I can really see the difference in my arms. Yay!

Linking up with Heather, Ash, and Erin for Weigh in Wednesday!

How was your week? Did you meet your goals?

    1. Thank you! I lost my taste for soda while I was pregnant. I didn't really drink a lot before, but now I only drink like 2 swallows and am so done. It really makes a difference in how I feel if I don't drink enough water!

  3. You are doing so well, what a great transformation pic!! 160 oz of water is a TON of water, that is amazing!!!..I aim for between 100-120 oz per day, and it has really helped with the weight loss. Go you on the running, too!! 0.2 lbs is NOTHING. :)

  9. Great job on the water!!! I had pretty much been drinking unsweetened tea only, but I decided not to buy anymore (atleast for a bit) So we shall see how that will help in the water department. Great pictures:) I weigh at times everyday as well. It just depends. You go to do what is best for you.
