June Challenge with Tatlocks Truth

I wanted to have this post ready for the last day of May, but due to a busy last few days of the month it didn't happen.

We're here now though, and that's what matters!

Shannon over at Tatlocks Truth proposed a challenge for the month of June, and since I love a good challenge, I said I was totally in. Her challenge is as follows:

1. Drink at least 3 litres of water a day.

2. Portion control yourself!

3. Exercise at least 30 minutes 6x a week.

I wanted to change it up just a bit, so here are my personal challenge goals for June.

1. Drink at least 3 litres of water a day. Not changing that.

It is going to be challenging though. A I did a conversion on my app and found out that my 2 bottles of water only added up to 1.5 litres, not 2 like I thought. I will need 4 to get 3 litres in. Yikes! Wish me luck!

2. Log everything into MyFitnessPal. Everything. No matter what.

I am known for 'forgetting' to add this or that into my log. Not this month. That's going to change.

3. Get 10 000 steps a day logged into my fitbit. I will also attempt to log 30 active minutes as well, as many days as I can.

I almost always get 10 000 steps a day, but this will challenge me to get it every day.

4. No snacking after supper. I've been working on this lately and need to really buckle down. Unless I'm out at a social gathering that happens to extend into the evening. I don't need to be sitting in front of the computer, mindlessly eating.

5. Continue running with C25K, at least twice a week. Due to Casey's crazy schedule, I can't always get out of the house, so I'm just going to do my best.

Last month I only set 2 goals for myself. Water intake and running. This time, I'm aiming higher! :)

What are your goals this month?

  1. Sounds like a good month of challenges! Good luck with them!
Have you ever tried running stairs or just around your house a bunch of times if Casey's working? I know I don't have a treadmill so I try to make stuff up. Might help get some training in when you think you can't.
