Fitness Friday

I've never participated in Fitness Friday before, but it hit me this evening that I really wanted to! SO! Linking up with ALG Uninterrupted for Fitness Friday!

This week I've been doing pretty well in the fitness department. Every day I wasn't working, we started the morning out with a walk to the beach and back. I should make an attempt to go a bit earlier and walk farther sometimes.

I have had the goal to log 10 000 steps on my FitBit and I've been doing super with that.

I've been out running twice since last friday, which has been my goal. I've been doing the C25K program, and I've been repeating week 4 day 2 for the last 2 runs. It's the 3 and 5 minute runs. I was so happy with myself when I was able to do the 5 minute one for the first time. The second time around it went well, and I was a bit more comfortable with it. I think I'm going to do it one more time, and then move on to week 4 day 3, which is the same 3 and 5 minute runs, but with a bit less walking in between.

I'm also really excited to say that I finally took the plunge and ordered Piyo from Beachbody! I'm so excited to get it and try it!

I have to admit, I'm probably not going to do a full 60 day challenge, as I'm working and I want to continue to do the C25K program, but once I get the program, I'm going to make myself a nice schedule in my little life planner and get to work! I love Chalene Johnson, the instructor on the video. I find her really real and positive.

  1. I've heard that Piyo is really good! Maybe I'll check it out, once I've exhausted all of my Slim in 6 DVDs!
    I hope you'll review it!

    1. I'm excited to do it! I'm not going to be following their plan that they provide because I find them too intense. But I plan to make my own schedule.
