Weigh in Wednesday

I have to admit, this has been one of the worst eating week for me in a long time. It started with tuesday last week. I went to a birthday dinner, and I didn't eat a ton of food, but I did eat what was there, which was hashbrown casserole and meatloaf. There was actually a dessert to go with it, but I opted to wait and have cupcakes with the whole family instead. No sense in having 2 desserts and a really unhealthy supper!

Wednesday was crazy at work. I basically didn't eat between breakfast and 3 PM except I think I got a few pieces of fruit from a fruit tray in. The rest of the day was apparently a write off, and I just gorged. Ugh. I ate 2 cupcakes before bed. I'm fessing up. I did it.

Thursday was fine. Thank goodness.

Friday was fine until I went to a party in the evening and ate too much cheesecake. I didn't even come close to getting enough steps in on my Fitbit either.

Saturday I was so tired, I napped in the afternoon. It was nice! I can't remember what I ate, but I think it involved cupcakes.

Sunday, I tried so hard to be good. We went on an excursion to an outer island here and hiked around it. I ate lunch before we left, so I wouldn't be starving by the time we got ready to make our bonfire there. We hiked around the whole island, and it felt great. Last year, I felt like I was going to die. It was so hilly and uneven, I think I fell down a few times. Not this year!! I conquered that hike with plenty of energy to spare!! While sitting around at the bonfire I did eat a few chips or whatnot here and there, but I didn't eat any hot dogs or anything too crazy.

Monday I got myself back together. I always make a habit of eating poorly on the weekends, and it leads to me not losing weight. I want to not do that this year so bad! I actually made this yummy Curried Squash soup and had that for dinner, since Casey wasn't home. Harper actually liked it too!

This tuesday was fine, except it was Casey's birthday so we had cake I had a piece. I couldn't eat it all though. I didn't gorge or make myself sick or anything. Thankfully.

So this week, I gained 0.2 pounds. I'm not proud of myself, but I'm actually counting my lucky stars I didn't gain 3 pounds!! I'll take a 0.2 pound gain over that any day of the week!!

I'm not doing so well with running though. The only time I had a chance to go out so far this week it began to pour down rain, complete with thunder and lightning. I'm super happy to report, though, that when I went on friday, I ran the 3 and 4 minute intervals! Woo hoo!

  7. You know I would be so proud of that .2 gain instead of 3 points..too lol!!! If you can do that great on a bad week, think what you can do on a great week:)
