I don't know about you, but when I pull a rubber duck out of a bin of bath toys and find it dark tinted because it's obviously got mould in it, I find that gross. I threw it right in the garbage. A better person than me would have tried to bleach the inside of it....ain't nobody got time for that!!

Mouldy Old Duck |
Unfortunately, the rubber duck was Harpers favourite bath toy, so I went out and bought her a new one. Luckily for me, I remembered glancing at a Pinterest hack about the toys, and decided to go right ahead and do it!
I dug out my hot glue gun, heated it up, and filled in the holes with the glue. Bam!
Seriously it took 5 seconds (I did it while watching Netflix!) and voila! Mould proof duck!

Awesome idea!!!!
ReplyDeleteI was just thinking about doing this! It's such a great idea because no mama wants her baby to be chewing on some mouldy rubber ducky. Yuck! I am so doing this soon! :-)
ReplyDeleteOh my word. How perfect is that?! Linc's has quite a few bath toys that have holes in them and I always have to buy new ones! Definitely doing this!
