Rubber Duck Hack

I don't know about you, but when I pull a rubber duck out of a bin of bath toys and find it dark tinted because it's obviously got mould in it, I find that gross. I threw it right in the garbage. A better person than me would have tried to bleach the inside of it....ain't nobody got time for that!!

Mouldy Old Duck
Unfortunately, the rubber duck was Harpers favourite bath toy, so I went out and bought her a new one. Luckily for me, I remembered glancing at a Pinterest hack about the toys,  and decided to go right ahead and do it!

I dug out my hot glue gun, heated it up, and filled in the holes with the glue. Bam!

Seriously it took 5 seconds (I did it while watching Netflix!) and voila! Mould proof duck!

  1. I was just thinking about doing this! It's such a great idea because no mama wants her baby to be chewing on some mouldy rubber ducky. Yuck! I am so doing this soon! :-)

  2. Oh my word. How perfect is that?! Linc's has quite a few bath toys that have holes in them and I always have to buy new ones! Definitely doing this!
