Weigh in Wednesday

Linking up with Heather and Ash for Weigh in Wednesday!

This post is going to be short and sweet, because today is my first day back at work (permanently) since before having Harper. I have worked a few shifts while I've been off on maternity leave, but now it's time to go back for real! I can't say that I'm sad or anything really. I love my job and my co-workers and I'm looking forward to be back at it. I will, however, miss getting to spend so much time with Harper. Also, I'm going to have to actually have my life in order, not just pretend it is.

So, this week I haven't really been 100% on my game. I have been pretty stressed with Harpers birthday and then the impending start to work and feeling like I need to get my life together in a short amount of time. I haven't really been super self destructive or anything, I just haven't been super on top of what I've been eating up until yesterday. I have been to hockey and sweated my butt off a couple times this week.

I actually got a ton done yesterday, and I made my lunches for work for the next 3 days, which include baked chicken breast, roasted sweet potato, and broccoli. Not bad, right?! I've also made my breakfast ahead of time using this pin. I've made them before, so I decided they would be easy to make and then eat the next day, even if I had to take them in the car with me. The only change I made is that I didn't have any chia seeds and I added a couple tbsp of unsweetened almond milk. I put a tbsp of peanut butter in it as the extra, instead of any berries. I will do other things over the next few days too.

So, after having a meh kind of week, my weight is the same as last week. I weighed in yesterday too just to see and I was down a little bit but it always does it's daily fluctuating.

Well I'm off to work! Wish me luck! :)

    1. Thanks! The oatmeal was good, but I feet like it wasn't enough to fill my belly. I had a banana too :)

  3. Good luck going back to work! I've seen these overnight oats, but worried about the greek yogurt. I hate to buy it, then not like it. No gain is a plus in my books! Good job lady!

    1. Thanks! I didn't like greek yogurt the first time I tried it, but then I tried a coconut one someone had and loved it. I've been eating it ever since!
