Weigh In Wednesday

Linking up again for Weigh In Wednesday!

This has been a pretty exciting week. We've had the Helshiron Company Christmas Party on sunday, and yesterday was my 25th birthday.

First of all, I don't know why or how I got the motivation to do so, but I did the first week of the TurboFire routine. I was pretty happy with that, but on the core day, I did something to my back and it hurt something awful. I let it rest for a couple days after that...

The Christmas party was wonderful. I ordered the tenderloin steak tips (with mushrooms, onions & peppers) potato and carrots. It came with a roll too, but I wasn't really feeling it. The meal wasn't bad. There was much and more chocolate and I helped myself to that...The deserts were small, so that was good. I was pretty full from the meal anyway. We had a Yankee Swap and I ended up coming home with a huge box of Toffifee and 2 little boxes of other delicious chocolate.

Since I was letting my back rest, I didn't end up working out on Sunday or Monday and for some reason I neglected to do so yesterday (probably because it was my birthday and I was tired from sleep walking the night before, ugh). I also managed to eat almost all the chocolate I got in the gift swap...Oh my!

If you want to know, I tackled the fan that I keep by my bed in my sleep. In my defence, I was honourably defending a Christmas present that I'm holding onto for someone. I'll give you the whole story after Christmas, so there is no way the surprise will get ruined. Casey and I are apparently a match made in sleep walking heaven!

Yesterday we had birthday supper and for a cake we had a skillet cookie/brownie. Yummy! I got lots of nice presents, and got to spend time with my lovely family. It was a great day!

I guess it's back to reality today. I got on the scale *gasp* and I am actually down 0.2 lbs, which is like some kind of birthday miracle, after all the candy I ate.

My birthday gift from Casey!! AHHHHH!

From my Dad, Step Mom, and Siblings, the scrub is soooo amazing and the card sings!

  4. I have been thinking of asking for a sewing machine for my birthday. I have no idea how to use it or sew, but I think it would be a good start.
