5 On Friday!

I TOTALLY forgot to post last week. Whoops!

Linking up again for 5 on Friday!

{ONE}

Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, whatever! I don't care how you celebrate, or what, but I hope you have a happy one! Personally, I celebrate Christmas but I'm cool with whatever you celebrate. All that matters is that you have joy, peace, love and happiness over the holidays and in the new year.

I made these yesterday. I just made stars, and I have a crap ton of them, but they smell awesome. As usual, I didn't follow the recipe, and messed it up almost to the point of no return, but I fixed it in the end. They're still drying out, because I didn't have a 3 hour stretch in the afternoon/evening that I was able to be home all the time.

I also finally did this. I'm not done yet, because like the other things, it's still drying. I've still gotta paint it. I actually followed the recipe on this one though and it turned out fine.

I dug out my Canon Rebel and took a few pictures of Harper by the tree. This is one of them. I've gotta try again once her nice Christmas diaper is clean again. I've never really played with shutter speed before, but it was nice how it turned out!

I finally finished my second wood sign. I really like how it turned out. The snow letters have sparkles on them but you can't see it in the photo. It nicely hides the bowl of junk that's always by our door.

  1. Beautiful Christmas photos!!!

    My Mom makes those Cinnamon Ornaments for all our passed fur family. There is one on the tree for each kitty and puppy. You're right, they smell DELICIOUS!

    1. I've been trying to make time for it since the beginning of December. It actually took no time at all! Just the drying out takes a long time. Thanks for stopping by!

  3. Stopping by from the link up :)

    You are so crafty! I like the Salt Dough Hand Ornament. I think I'm gonna have to make one of those for my daughter's first ornament, so thanks for the link!

    I have always liked those pictures with babies playing with Christmas lights. So adorable!

      I try to do as many crafts as I can. I'm still on mat leave, so I have lots of time to do them!

  4. Do you hand draw the words on the wood or use a stencil? It's super cute!
