Harper's Nursery!

Well, I've been working on this basically since I found out I was pregnant. Whether it be bossing Casey around to get the old junk out of it, spending endless hours trying to decide a colour scheme (thanks to the fact that I work nights), painting (& painting, and painting some more), choosing furniture, and sometimes ignoring the room completely for long periods of time because I didn't want to think about it.

We ended up painting the entire room except for the floor. The old paint in there was super glossy and had been there so long it was yellowing. So we ended up painting the ceiling, baseboards, window, door, and even the closet, top to bottom. I actually hate painting. No, scratch that, I hate taping. I can handle the painting part.

I had a couple projects that I wanted to do for the room, but never got around to doing, o r chickened out on them. I was going to make curtains out of burlap and make my own crib skirt. I even got my grandmother to come over and give me a tutorial on how to use my sewing machine. I just could not bring myself to waste time and money on something I knew was going to fail. Hard.

Anyways, here it is, after much hard work, and none too soon, seeing as I'm sure in 10 days!
