Island Life

Another week has gone by. Rather unbelievable, really. It's been a very busy week!

The start of this week was all about getting projects done. I was on a roll and didn't wanna give it up because I was getting so many things done! Since I had my Silhouette Cameo figured out, I decided to do a few more things with it.

I made the labels for this container for Harper me to put toys away in at the end of the day, so they don't get eaten by our dog.

I moved on and made this cute little 3D cut out of a butterfly and flower for Harper's wall, and finally strung my Pippin Pops together and got Casey to put everything up on the wall. Harper loves it!

Garland comes from Pippin Pops!

Then I finished re-painting the end tables we bought 5 years ago. They were white but I got nail polish remover on one of them, and thought I had best not paint them white...since it gets super dirty super easily. Teal it is.

I spent a total of 9 hours on the ferry this week. I took my mom away to a Dr appointment on Thursday, and dragged her around to run a few errands as fast as I could, before making the ferry home. Went away again on Friday and as soon as I got on the ferry, I realized that the people who I was going to pick up weren't even coming until the next day. *Facepalm*. But hey, as soon as I found that out, I was straight on the phone with Massage Experts for an hour back massage. *Win*. I got some shopping done and went home.

After we finally did get our friends here on Saturday, we had a great weekend. We ate good food and hung out all weekend. We played Settlers and watched TV and didn't do a whole lot of anything. Not that you really can when you have a 9 month old and a 2 year old who have opposite nap schedules. We're just happy to be able to spend some time with them!

Oh, but we did go play mini golf.

I went along for the ride today with Casey as he took our friends back. This is a pretty great place to live, if you ask me!
