Island Life: Weekly Recap

I can hardly begin to describe how busy this week has been. We moved into the new house a week ago Friday. It went quite well, and we're settling in nicely. Still working on unpacking, but I feel like that's going to take years.

After a busy Mother's Day weekend, I worked Monday. Tuesday was my mom's birthday, so I had her over for dinner. She let me know that her dog had eaten some plastic and was sick, so we had to make an emergency trip to the vet on the mainland on Wednesday. I got quite a lot accomplished that day, which is great because I had a lot to do! Her dog ended up being fine, which is also good.

Thursday I worked, and Friday I cleaned and made an order of cupcakes for someone. My backsplash got finished that day, so I had to clean up from that as well.

Saturday I hosted a Scentsy/Thirty One party in the evening, which I spent most of the day preparing for. Other than when I had a nap. Really shouldn't have done that, but it was nice all the same.

Sunday I puttered around the house a bit and then we had a family dinner for Colby's birthday.

My eating this week has sucked badly. I'm working on correcting it this week. Here's to that.
