21 Day Fix - Week 2 {&WIW}
So I'm going to just go ahead and say that week 2 was MUCH harder than week 1. In week 1, I kept telling myself that I was going to do the whole 21 days with no slip ups, I didn't need any treats, not even the ones you can make in the back of the 21 Day Fix book. Nope, not me! I'm strong and don't need food as a reward!
Then LIFE happened. I started a med and was warned that it might give me the 'munchies'. That wouldn't effect ME. Never.
I don't know if you've ever had medication induced munchies before, but they are out of this world. My poor husband, bless him, kept trying to talk me down. I didn't listen.
Thankfully, it was only one day (I have stopped that med). I have maintained control of myself, and have eaten well and on plan for the most part. I had a square at work and a Lindt mint chocolate at home, but I didn't eat anything nuts. Like a whole bag of Goldfish.
I have to say, I am somewhat more comfortable on the program now. Maybe too much so. I think I might be over estimating my peanut butter teaspoons. Also, I am not always eating all of my containers.
AND, one of my challengers pointed out to me, that it says in the book to be finished eating your purple and yellow containers by 6PM. Oops! I have been eating fruit at night all week! Lesson learned!!
I missed Pilates again this week (I wasn't feeling well), but I did a double workout on Sunday with Dirty 30 and TurboFire Fire 30. Burned a good 450 calories, and actually felt awesome after.
My stomach has been bothering me some this week. I swear it's because I've been swallowing my gum. I need to stop doing that. I don't usually, but I accidentally did it a couple times this week.
So, moving on to Weigh In Wednesday with Heather, Ash, and Erin! Go check those lovely ladies out and the rest of the great bloggers linking up today!
This week I lost 2.2 pounds! Which I'm super pumped about, because 1) that puts me into the 150s! and 2) I hit my 50 pound loss this week! Yay!!
