Little Setbacks {Weigh in Wednesday}

Hello lovelies!

It's that time of week again, Weigh in Wednesday! I'm joining up with Heather, Ash, and Erin for their weekly linkup. I hope you'll go check them out!

Weigh In Wednesday

So, after my crazy food fiasco on friday, I wasn't sure what was going to happen. When I fall so hard off the preverbal wagon like I did, I very often stay off for a while. If you look at my weight loss chart from MyFitnessPal, you'll see a couple of plateaus. Between the end of November of last year and the end of January, I plateaued at 194. I just sort of gave up. I wanted to lose weight, but I didn't want to put the effort forward. I'm very surprised that I didn't actually gain during those periods. I know the feeling of a plateau well. It's a 'whatever, I'm not going to lose anymore anyway' sort of feeling. The same thing happened around March/April.

I am happy to say though, that after this particular binge, I wrote this post, and then made myself recommit to tracking my food religiously. Also, I've been trying to get extra water in.

My actual weigh in this week wasn't as bad as I thought. I gained 0.8 pounds so it's far from the 4 I thought I was going to be looking at. I'm going to just get back on that horse and keep riding forward, hopefully farther downhill!

Height: 5'3"
Last Week: 166.8
This Week: 167.6
Change: +0.8 Pounds
Total Loss: 42.4 Pounds

And for a little extra fun, here's my #TransformationTuesday picture from this week!

How was your week? Tell me how you recover from a binge?

  2. One good thing about getting on the scale is sometimes the gain isn't as bad as you think it will be and it helps you get back on track. If I think I gained a bunch (or went way over on calories for a day) I just think "who cares I've already screwed up, what is a little more going to hurt." Knowing the truth is good. Super cute pictures of your family :)

  8. Setbacks happen. As long as you don't let it be an excuse to keep going in the wrong direction. It totally sounds like you are back on track.

  9. It happens to all of us! The important thing is you are consistently losing! Look at that downward slope! Cute family photos by the way!
